Hallee Lumsden is a photographer based in the Sierra Nevadas whose work explores nuances of the human experience and the natural world through observation and storytelling. She will receive her Associate of Fine Arts in January of 2026 from Truckee Meadows Community College, Reno, Nevada. She has been recognized with numerous scholarships, including the Tackett Family Scholarship, Lions Reno Host/Lyle Ball Memorial Scholarship, Millennium Scholarship, and Nevada Promise Scholarship. Lumsden’s photos have been published in Half-Lit Zine, Issue No. 1, and featured on the cover of CC Communications 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 Directories. Her images reflect a dedication to capturing authentic moments, combining technical skill with thoughtful and meaningful subject matter.
